Harlem based artist Donovan Mclean has been rendering his abstract art for over 20 years now. He is self-taught from the age of seven years old. The subject matter that he conveys include jazz, abstracts, music, yoga, dance and African inspired concepts. A nationally acclaimed artist who has shown his work at Chicago’s DuSable Museum. His art style is mixed media using oil-based pastels, acrylics, fabrics, leather – incorporating all of these mediums to create an innovating and unique style. He travels all over the country doing major art shows such as Essence Music Festival, Jazz Fest New Orleans and Capital Jazz Fest. Occasionally showing his work at Lincolnwood Town Center. His goal is to uplift humanity using art. Uplift your mind, uplift your culture. We are one.
